Music for Remembrance Day

At the Remembrance Service, Lorenzo B, Charlie C, William D and Henry G gave a confident and dignified performance of the traditional – and technically challenging – Last Post and Reveille, which signalled the start and end of the traditional two minutes’ silence.
At the end of the service, the boys in SHS Voices sang Nunc dimittis by Geoffrey Burgon with beautiful control and expression, creating a moving and reflective atmosphere to conclude this important occasion. We are grateful to Mr Lowe for his work in preparing the trumpeters for the service and, along with Mrs Peebles, accompanying SHS Voices’ singing.
