School Disco

We were delighted that so many children joined in on Friday for the first School Disco! A huge thank you to one of our children's dad for being our DJ! We really enjoyed showing off our moves and dance skills. We are very proud to say that we raised a grand total of £600. This money will be dontated to Wimbledon Foodbank and PAWS Mauritius. Thank you again for supporting.

STEMS Week

We have had an incredible time celebrating British Science Week! The wonder began on Thursday when two 'precious' eggs arrived for our Reception children to explore. The curiosity has been palpable as they wonder exactly what might be inside! This morning, we were delighted to welcome Mrs. Holmes from Shrewsbury House School for an inspiring assembly. Afterwards, each year group turned into mini-scientists to conduct their own experiments. Be sure to ask your children about the 'ink changes' they witnessed—they have some fascinating stories to tell about how colours move and shift!

World Book Day!

It was such a delight to see the children dressed up for our annual World Book Day celebrations on Thursday! They had a memorable day of creative activities as well as their workshop with author Simon Murray. This special day is just one way in which we promote reading for pleasure, recognising that this has so many benefits for the children’s development and wellbeing.

Junior Travel Ambassadors

Our Junior Travel Ambassadors carried out a survey at the school gate on Thursday morning to monitor how many cars were idling and how many had their engines switched off. The children confidently recorded their findings and spoke politely to parents about the importance of turning off engines while waiting. We were delighted to see that many drivers are already helping to reduce air pollution by not idling.

International Week

What a wonderful way to round off this half term with such an enriching and memorable week for the children. Every class has learnt new information about languages, cultures, landmarks and history from all over the world. The week began with the children arriving at The Rowans harbour to receive their boarding pass for their virtual journey to their respective country. Our thanks to the many parents involved in bringing their own home countries and cultures to life for our children at Wednesday’s International Fair!
