We are dedicated to recognising and nurturing the diverse abilities and talents of each boy. Through enrichment and extension activities across the curriculum, teachers maintain high expectations, motivating every pupil to strive towards and realise their true potential.
Personalised Curriculum Pace
Our classes are fluidly set in Year 4 for Maths and English, with the pace of learning adjusted to suit the boys at each stage. There is regular movement between sets, to allow pupils to develop at different paces. This setting continues into Years 5 and 6 to enable pupils to access the curriculum at the pace which suits them best. All pupils are supported and extended in their studies as we foster a culture of fearless learning as well as developing their growth mindset.
Common Entrance & Scholarship
In Years 7 and 8, boys will follow either a Common Entrance or Scholarship route and we encourage their interests and talents in a wide range of subject areas.
Co-Curricular Activities
Beyond the classroom, we offer numerous opportunities for pupils to develop their talents. Whether in music, sport, or the arts, we are committed to identifying and nurturing each pupil’s unique abilities, encouraging them to reach for their highest potential.
